Island Maths Tutors was established in April 2013 after identifying a need for a specialised Mathematics tuition on the Island. We have since given numerous students the confidence in the subject which has enabled them to gain the grades they need to successfully progress to their chosen post 16 course. The introduction of the new 9-1 GCSE syllabus in Mathematics was then a challenge to pupils and teachers alike. We had some excellent outcomes over recent years and our feedback page reflects some of these pupils’ success.
This is my second child that Sean has worked with in preparation for his Maths GCSE. Sean is calm and explains things that my son never understood at school! Failing all his mocks in January he just passed with 6 (B). Over the moon. Thank you Sean
Sean has been a amazing tutor he is very patient and will make you do a question over and over again and till you finally understand it and will show multiple ways into getting the answer he helped me finally understand math in such a short amount of time he’s great

The tuition my daughter received was professional, and well planned. We used both the online and home visit options. Sean was friendly and approachable. My daughter was coached though practice exams and given tips to help her. Thanks to Sean she achieved GCSE grade 8
